James F. Linnehan, Jr., Esq. is the Executive
Vice President of Middlesex Community College. Prior to becoming
Executive Vice President at the College, Linnehan also served as
Chief Financial Officer and Director of Partnerships.
He was the Director of Capital Planning and Budgeting for
Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Administration and Finance and
Director of Capital and Grants for the Executive Office of Human
Services. He also served as a Fiscal Analyst for the House Committee
on Ways and Means.
Linnehan earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School
and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1985. He currently
teaches as Adjunct Faculty for Suffolk University’s Master’s in
Public Administration Program.
Linnehan has been an active participant in various community
organizations, serving as a Treasurer for organizations including
the Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School, the North Suburban
Chamber of Commerce, and the Lowell Children’s Museum; and he is a
Board Member of the Lowell Telecommunication Corporation, the Saints
Medical Center Foundation, and D’Youville Senior Care.
